Formed in 1999, and run by a small Committee, the club meets every month (except January and April) on the first Wednesday evening of the month at 7.30 pm in Wrenthorpe Village Hall.

The annual subscription is £10, and members also pay £1 at each meeting they attend, which includes refreshments.

Meetings are usually attended by 50-60 members and are friendly and informal.

There is a speaker most months, and an occasional social evening, or fun quiz, perhaps with cheese and wine or other refreshments.

The Club holds it’s own flower show in April, organises at least 2 coach trips in the Summer months, a plant sale/coffee morning in May, and  a members’ annual meal at a local restaurant in late Winter.  The  ‘unmissable’ Christmas Party is on the first Wednesday in December.

The Club is also responsible for running the ‘Wrenthorpe Open Gardens’ weekend every few years,.  The entire proceeds from this event are donated to charity.

New members are always welcome at a cost of £3 for a trial meeting.
