Details:
Situated on the edge of the village within 60 acres of grounds, Silcoates School provides an all-through, co-educational experience for boys and girls aged 2 to 18.
The School boasts a strong academic record, with 100% of 2025–2026 Sixth Form leavers securing their first or second-choice university. Pupils benefit from small class sizes, outstanding pastoral care, and exceptional facilities, including modern laboratories and workshops, extensive playing fields, an all-weather pitch, a multi-use games area, a sports hall, and an indoor swimming pool.
Beyond the classroom, Silcoates fosters a vibrant community spirit. A flourishing cultural programme offers rich opportunities in music, drama, and art, while an active outdoor education curriculum sees many pupils participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Older students are encouraged to lead through peer-mentoring and charitable initiatives, complemented by a wide range of domestic and international trips.
A variety of Bursaries as well as Academic, Music, and Sports Scholarships are available, making a Silcoates education more accessible than many families expect. Full details on eligibility and fee concessions can be found on our website.
While our full-school Open Morning takes place each autumn, prospective parents and pupils are always welcome to book a private tour. Please contact the Admissions Office (email: admissions@silcoates.org.uk / telephone 01924 885 245) or visit our website for the latest news and further information.
